  • NURSERY POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

On Sunday mornings our facility will be open 15 minutes before first service and will remain open until the end of the last service.

    - All children are to be checked in at the computer stations located at the entrance of the children’s area. Visitors should check in at one of our Welcome desks.

    - If you have a child in the nursery, please have your child’s belongings properly labeled. This includes: diaper bag, drinking cups and bottles, blankets, coats, and hats.

    - Pacifiers must be properly labeled and clipped to the child’s clothing.

    - Each child is able to move up to the next age appropriate room, on or after their birthday.

CHILD SAFETY AND PROTECTION POLICIES

  • All adult volunteers have a Criminal Background Screening.

  • Children are released to the person that has the scan card that matches the one that the child is wearing. In addition, they must also present the pager that was given to them upon checking in the child. If the parent or guardian has lost their scan card or pager, the volunteer will not release the child without first getting the approval of the Children’s Ministry Director, Assistant Children’s Director, Check-in Coordinator, or the Nursery Director.

  • The vibrating pager assigned to each Nursery Parent and child, is used to summon the parent if necessary.

  • Our volunteers work on a “buddy system”, which places no less than 2 volunteers in a room with a child at any given time

  • If your child develops an infectious disease (chicken pox, etc.) after he or she has been at church, please notify the Nursery Director or the Director of Children’s Ministries so we may notify other parents of their child’s exposure.
