Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ FROM PARENTS

How can you help me get my son/daughter connected when there's so many students?

If you need help in getting your son or daughter connected to our ministry... Please allow us to help. We promise to do three things:

We will have one of our leaders call and or write your student to personally invite him/her to on of our events.

We will have one of our student leaders do the same as #1.

We will give whatever information we can that might help your student get involved. For example your son might say, "I don't know anyone who goes there." That's a fair concern, but chances are that from the 80+ students involved every week in our student ministry they will know someone or will quickly connect with them. We'll give you names, offer options and be waiting for your teen to arrive at our program so that they'll have someone to sit with.

Please call or e-mail us for additional help.

FAQ FROM STUDENTS

What does it mean to have a relationship with Jesus Christ?

That is a great question! At some point in everybody's life they must answer this question. To have a relationship with Jesus Christ, a person must understand a few things.

  1. Understand that you have sinned Romans 3:23
  2. Understand that your good works cannot give you a relationship with God. Ephesians 2:8-9
  3. Understand that God cannot look on sin and therefore sin must be paid for. Either you will pay for your sin after you die in a place called hell forever or you can accept the payment made by Jesus when He died on the cross and came back to life three days later. Romans 6:23
  4. Understand that God has a gift for you. That gift is the payment for your sins and a relationship with Him, where at the end of your life you get to spend eternity with Him. Romans 6:23
  5. Understand that to receive this gift you must ask (pray) Jesus to forgive you of your sins by accepting His payment made on the cross and ask Him to be the leader of your life. Express your desire to follow Him and thank Him. Romans 10:9-10
  6. Understand that God will not reject anyone, once they have accepted His payment and asked Him to be the leader of their life. God will never leave you. Romans 10:13, Hebrews 13:5

Please let us know if you have just started a relationship with Jesus. We would to celebrate with you.
