Kidz@theCreek is an exciting, fun filled place where children can learn the Word of God and participate in the ministries of this church. There are programs for every age.

AWANA

Wednesday Nights - 6:45 PM (September - May)
Clubs for children ages 2 - 6th grade.

K4 AND K5

Sunday School

9:00 - 9:50 AM
K4 meets in room 104 and K5 meets in room 102.

Children's Church

10:00 AM - End of church services
K4 and K5 meet in rooms 102 and 104. They are mixed and assigned to one of the two classrooms. There are currently two sets of teachers for this age group. The children will only be released to their guardians.

Sunday Night KidzKlub

Children in this program begin the evening with their parents in the Church Sanctuary. They will be dismissed at the appropriate time to line up in the Church Lobby. At this point, their teacher and helpers meet them and escort them to their classroom, Room 4 in the Nursery area. After church services, parents will need to proceed to room 4 to pick up their children.

AWANA

Mini-Missionaries

Wednesday Nights (June - August)
All 4 and 5 year olds are welcome to participate with us.

Tiny Tunes

This musical program is reinforced throughout the year in Sunday Morning Children's Church. During the Summers, Sunday Nights before church services are dedicated to helping this age group develop musically.

ELEMENTARY GRADES 1-5

Sunday School

Kidz@theCreek is the children's ministry program at Canyon Creek Baptist Church. Children who are in 1st through 5th grade are checked in at their classrooms. 1st and 2nd grades meet in room 115, 3rd and 4th grade boys meet in room 132, 3rd and 4th grade girls meet in room 130, 5th grade boys and girls meet in room 136. The Children's Sunday School Teachers meet and greet the children as they arrive. Following the Sunday School time, the children are escorted by their teachers to the Children's Worship Center located in the Small Gymnasium.

Children's Church

Kidz@theCreek continues its morning program at 10:00 AM. The children are combined into three groups: 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd and 4th graders, and 5th graders. This time period is usually divided into three main categories: Singing, Lesson, and Reinforcement.

Singing

All age groups are led together in this form of worship by Nancy Reedy. Some of this time is also devoted to helping the children develop and work on Mighty Musician projects. Stylistically we sing contemporary praise/worship songs.

Lesson/Preaching

Each week the children are taught in their small group, preached to in the large group, or preached to in the main church services. It is important for the children to know what it is like to be a part of Main Church Services, so the children participate with the Adults in worship and preaching about once every quarter.

Reinforcement

The Kidz@theCreek program incorporates many Bible Quiz Games. The purpose for these games is to reinforce Sunday's Bible Lessons. It is also a time for fun and healthy competition.

Mighty Musicians

Wednesday Nights (June - August)
Led by Nancy Reedy, this program is for children in grades 1-6. Come join us on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 PM in the church auditorium as we prepare for the program.

KidFest - Saturday, March 27, 2010 - 1-4 PM

Join us for a great time with inflatables, games, face-painting, food, giant easter egg hunt and Illusionist, Jarad Hall.

Vacation Bible School - June 28 - July 2, 2010 - Saddle Ridge Ranch

VBS 2009 was a great success. We averaged over 375 each day with 28 salvations and many other decisions.

Junior Camp

Summer camp for 3rd - 6th grade boys and girls. July 12-16, 2010 - Riverbend Camp in Glenrose, Texas

Family Fall Festival

Our festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 5-8 PM.

Christmas Parade - December 4, 2010

CCBC participates every year in the Richardson Christmas Parade.
